Polaris Office announced on the 5th that it received the Industrial Medal at the '61st Trade Day' merit awards ceremony.
The Trade Day commemorative ceremony, marking its 61st anniversary this year, is an event hosted by the Korea International Trade Association and organized by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy. It annually honors contributors who have expanded exports, enhanced quality, and pioneered new markets.
At the ceremony, industrial medals (Gold Tower, Silver Tower, Bronze Tower, Iron Tower, Stone Tower), industrial medals of merit, and commendations (from the President, Prime Minister, Minister of Trade, Industry and Energy, and the Korea International Trade Association President) are awarded in order of contribution to overseas new market development and economic growth. Export towers are also awarded to companies or organizations based on export performance.
Polaris Office was honored for introducing differentiated strategic products through analysis of global market trends and technological trends.
In particular, it received the ‘CES 2025 AI Innovation Award’ for its next-generation artificial intelligence (AI) agent technology, 'AI NOVA,' gaining global competitiveness in business software (SW) dominated by foreign companies such as Google and Microsoft (MS).
Joon Kyung Ji, CEO of Polaris Office, stated, "This award is the result of integrating generative AI, an innovative technology, into the most universal office software, laying the foundation for sustainable growth." He added, "We will continue to establish ourselves as a global software company representing South Korea in the world market through innovation and challenge."
