Hanam Holds Inauguration Ceremony for Choi Cheon-gi as President of Park Golf Association

The Hanam City Park Golf Association in Gyeonggi announced on the 5th that it held the '3rd President Choi Cheon-gi Inauguration Ceremony' on the 3rd at the annex auditorium of Hanam City Hall, attended by Hanam Mayor Lee Hyun-jae, Hanam City Council Chairman Geum Gwang-yeon, Hanam Sports Council President Choi Jin-yong, and about 400 association members.

President Choi Cheon-gi previously served as the head of the Saemaul Movement Hanam Branch and vice president of the Hanam Cultural Center.

At the inauguration ceremony, a plaque of appreciation was awarded to former president Song Seon-young, and plaques of gratitude were presented to Choi Jin-yong, President of the Hanam Sports Council, Kim Dal-ju, acting president, and Nam Chung-seop, former secretary-general, for their exceptional dedication and sincere volunteer spirit in contributing to the association's development.

In his inaugural speech, President Choi presented a vision to expand the base of park golf culture in Hanam City, stating, "Close and reliable cooperation among Hanam City, Hanam Sports Council, and Hanam City Park Golf Association is urgently needed," and added, "I hope you will actively engage from now on in establishing park golf facilities within the park to be created through the restoration project of the greenbelt damaged by the Gyosan New Town development." He also pledged to devote himself wholeheartedly to the development of the Hanam City Park Golf Association.
