The main sites visited included the Geumbit Village Senior Center, which opened in November 2024, the (tentative name) Seokgeumsan Middle School school facility complex project scheduled for completion in 2027, the hub-type toy library established on the first floor of the Northern District Urban Regeneration Living Infrastructure Center, and the Tongdosa Cultural Space construction project with a total budget of 28.7 billion KRW, totaling four locations.
Chairman Choi Bok-chun stated, “It is impossible to know exactly how the construction will proceed or what issues exist just by looking at the budget book. Based on the opinions directly seen and heard on-site, we will actively strive to ensure that the taxpayers' money of Yangsan citizens is not wasted.”
The information and opinions collected during this on-site activity will be reflected in the 2025 budget review by the Planning and Administration Committee during the 202nd Yangsan City Council 2nd regular session, held from December 9 to December 16.
