NC's 'Journey of Monark' Launches Global Service in 241 Countries

Lineage IP-Based Idle MMORPG

NCSoft's new idle MMORPG (Massively Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Game), "Journey of Monarch," launched its global service on the 5th.

Journey of Monarch was simultaneously released in 241 countries worldwide, including Korea, Taiwan, Japan, North America, and Europe. Players can enjoy the game on PC (Purple) and mobile platforms (AOS·iOS).

Journey of Monarch is an idle MMORPG based on the Lineage IP (intellectual property). It features a free growth system without real-time competition, high-quality full 3D graphics, and a new gameplay style that reinterprets iconic elements of Lineage.

Players take on the role of the monarch character "Deporoju" and explore a world designed by "Pailer," a character from Lineage W. All heroes appearing in the Lineage IP can be summoned as companions, allowing players to build a deck of up to eight heroes.

Along with the launch of Journey of Monarch, NCSoft is holding a cross-play event with the Lineage IP called "Monarch Code." Players of Lineage M, Lineage 2M, and Lineage W can play Journey of Monarch and receive various rewards usable in the existing games.
