Homeplus Extends Membership Points Validity Period from 2 Years to 3 Years

Effective from March 2026

Homeplus announced on the 5th that it will extend the validity period of the My Homeplus membership accumulation points from the existing 2 years to 3 years. Homeplus plans to adjust the terms and conditions and notify related details to apply the validity extension starting from March 2026.


Homeplus My Membership customers can enjoy benefits at Homeplus Mart and Mall, Express stores, online, and cultural centers. Membership members can receive benefits such as purchase receipt verification, discount coupon confirmation and usage, shopping cart rental, and free parking at the mart. Benefits based on free purchase performance grades are also provided.

Homeplus launched the integrated online and offline free membership called 'Homeplus ONE Grade System' in June last year. The number of integrated membership members exceeded 10 million in the first half of this year. According to Homeplus internal data, it is estimated that customers who joined the My Homeplus membership during the one year after the launch of the 'Homeplus ONE Grade System' received benefits worth more than 20 billion KRW. The number of 2030 membership members also increased by about 20% compared to three years ago.


Meanwhile, to expand the membership customer base, Homeplus is continuously offering a coupon pack worth 17,000 KRW that can be used at marts, Express stores, online, and malls for two months to new My Homeplus members.


Additionally, according to the Homeplus ONE Grade System, VIP+ grade members can receive various benefits such as shopping coupons with up to 12% discount, birthday gifts, and free parking. The VIP+ grade can be obtained by spending more than 700,000 KRW on four purchases based on purchase performance in the last two months.


Son Ju-yeon, head of Homeplus Data CRM Division, said, "We have worked to reduce customer burden with free membership and provide various benefits to operate a differentiated membership." She added, "In addition to extending the point validity period, we will achieve both customer satisfaction and Homeplus growth with differentiated services unique to Homeplus, designed from the customer's perspective."
