'Pregnancy Pre-Health Management Support Project' Officially Launched
Gangbuk-gu, Seoul (Mayor Lee Soon-hee) is promoting the ‘Pre-pregnancy Health Management Support Project’ to create a healthy pregnancy and childbirth environment.
The support targets men and women aged 25 to 49 residing in Gangbuk-gu, regardless of income, marital status, or number of children. Support is provided once per cycle, up to a maximum of three times, according to age groups: 25?29 years (1st cycle), 30?39 years (2nd cycle), and 40?49 years (3rd cycle).
The support items include ovarian function tests (AMH) and gynecological ultrasounds (ovaries, uterus, etc.) for women, and semen analysis (including detailed sperm morphology test) for men. The maximum support amount is 130,000 KRW for women and 50,000 KRW for men.
Residents wishing to undergo testing can obtain a test request form from the Gangbuk-gu Public Health Center or the e-Health Center, then receive the test at a participating medical institution. After completing the test, submitting the receipt online will result in the support payment. However, the test must be completed within three months after issuing the test request form.
Information on participating medical institutions and detailed information about this project can be found on the Public Health Portal e-Health Center. For further details, please contact the Gangbuk-gu Public Health Center.
