Kyungbok University has signed an industry-academic cooperation agreement with Iwon Medical Foundation.
The Department of Clinical Pathology at Kyungbok University announced on the 5th that it recently signed an industry-academic cooperation agreement with Iwon Medical Foundation, the nation's top diagnostic testing institution, aiming to advance the medical diagnostic field and cultivate practical talent.
This agreement aims to establish a future-oriented industry-academic cooperation system and promote public health through customized education programs based on advanced bio-health technology and joint research and development of diagnostic testing technologies.

According to the agreement, both institutions promised to actively cooperate in developing practical education programs, strengthening field training, supporting employment linkage, and jointly researching and developing in vitro diagnostic testing technologies.
Founded in 1983, Iwon Medical Foundation is a specialized entrusted testing institution providing clinical testing services through 43 branches nationwide. It has established the largest automated testing system in Korea, delivering fast and accurate diagnostic test results, and plays a leading role in the medical diagnostic field through next-generation diagnostic testing and clinical research services.
Kim Dae-eun, head of the Department of Clinical Pathology at Kyungbok University, stated, "Through this agreement, we can provide students with opportunities to strengthen their practical skills," and added, "Kyungbok University will do its best to strengthen the cooperative relationship based on trust and create new value."
