US Mortgage Applications Increase by 2.8%... Interest Rates Slightly Decline

The number of weekly mortgage applications in the United States increased by 2.8% compared to the previous week, the Mortgage Bankers Association announced on the 4th (local time). The previous week recorded a 6.3% increase.

The average interest rate for a 30-year fixed-rate mortgage fell from 6.86% last week to 6.69% this week, marking a decline for the second consecutive week.
