On the 4th, singer Lee Seung-hwan announced via social media, “Now that martial law has been lifted, the concert ‘Like a Black-and-White Movie’ will proceed as planned,” signaling the resumption of his performances. He added, “I apologize for the confusion. On this day full of things to say, I will share deeper and more profound songs and stories with you.”

Lee Seung-hwan held a small-scale concert on the 3rd at the Gureum-a-rae Small Theater in front of Hongdae, Seoul, with additional performances scheduled for the 4th and 5th. However, the announcement of martial law led to the cancellation of these shows. With the lifting of martial law, the concerts will now proceed normally.

Through his YouTube channel community, Jang Beom-jun conveyed a message of encouragement to fans, saying, “In these turbulent times for the country, I hope everyone cherishes their daily lives. Please stay well-informed through the news, and I look forward to seeing you at the concert.”

British pop star Dua Lipa’s concert in Korea will also take place as scheduled. This performance, her first in about six years, will be held over two days on the 4th and 5th at Gocheok Sky Dome. Live Nation Korea, the concert organizer, announced, “The concert will proceed as planned.” However, it was reported that Dua Lipa has changed her scheduled visit to a pop-up store in Seoul on the same day.

The popular Japanese unit YOASOBI’s concerts on the 7th and 8th at Incheon Inspire Arena are also expected to proceed without issue. The event organizer LIVET stated, “This week’s concerts will be held as scheduled,” and related merchandise announcements will also continue as planned.

Meanwhile, the National Assembly passed a resolution to lift martial law early this morning with unanimous approval from all 190 members present, and President Yoon officially ratified it at the morning Cabinet meeting. Although the entertainment industry experienced some confusion due to the approximately six-hour duration of martial law, it is now returning to normalcy.
