Enjoying the Silver Snowfield at Ski Resorts and Snow World

High1 Resort, operated by Kangwon Land, announced on the 5th that it will open the High1 Ski Resort in Jeongseon, Gangwon Province on the 6th.

The Jeongseon High1 Ski Resort has a total length of 21 km and features slopes of various difficulty levels. This year, High1 plans to operate a total of 15 slopes, starting with the opening of the intermediate course 'Athena 2' and the beginner course 'Athena 3'. In particular, the longest course slopes (Zeus 2 and 3), which start at an altitude of 1,340 meters, are wide and gently sloped, allowing visitors to enjoy about 4 km of skiing while admiring the layered winter mountains of the Baekdudaegan mountain range.

High1's lift tickets are available in durations of 3 hours, 4 hours, 5 hours, 7 hours, and all-day (11 hours). The company stated, "We have introduced a time-based fare system that allows customers to use the slopes for as long as they want," adding, "The lift ticket starts as soon as you board the lift, so you can enjoy skiing at your own pace without feeling rushed."

High1 also operates a winter playground called Snow World and a sledding area for families with children. Snow World, a winter playground covering about 20,000 square meters, is located on the section from the High1 Top at the ski resort summit down to the Mountain Hub. It features various snow-themed facilities such as ▲rafting sleds ▲ice slides ▲tube sleds. Snow World is scheduled to officially open on the 23rd.

Last month, after completing a four-month environmental improvement project, High1 renamed the existing High1 Top observatory caf? to 'Gureumdameun Caf?' and began full-scale operations. Located at an altitude of 1,340 meters, the caf? has refurbished its aging facilities and enhanced convenience by separating spaces into themed zones such as a relaxation area, group seating, and meeting rooms. A High1 official said, "At Gureumdameun Caf?, visitors can enjoy the beautiful snowy scenery of the Baekdudaegan mountain range through the front windows, as well as signature local delicacies such as Dorongibbang and Gureumdameun Sanjuk Latte."
