ISO 37001 certification is an international standard for anti-corruption management systems established by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO). It targets organizations that meet international-level anti-corruption requirements and have sustainable response systems in place.

To obtain the certification, Gyeonggi Transportation Corporation established an anti-corruption system in accordance with international standards, including ▲establishing anti-corruption policies ▲diagnosing and evaluating corruption risks ▲formulating anti-corruption manuals and procedures ▲training internal auditors, and built a system for pre-identifying corruption risks and preventing and controlling illegal and corrupt acts.

President Min Kyung-sun said, “This certification is the result of the will and efforts of all executives and employees regarding anti-corruption,” adding, “Starting from this, we will continue ethical management activities and realize social value to become an institution more trusted by the residents of the province.”

Meanwhile, to promote the integrity awareness of executives and employees and prevent corrupt practices, Gyeonggi Transportation Corporation operated Integrity Week in May under the theme “Integrity Close to Us, Fairness Close to the Residents,” including anti-corruption education, and since July, has designated the 11th of every month as “Cheongbaji Day.”

Additionally, to facilitate ethical management practical consultations, it signed an Integrity Cluster agreement with related organizations, and through operating the Integrity Citizen Auditor system, the Integrity Mileage system, and holding an idea contest on integrity policies for executives and employees, it is making various efforts to advance as an excellent ethical management institution.
