Dongducheon City Holds Youth Drug Abuse Prevention Campaign and Golden Bell Quiz Competition

Dongducheon City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Park Hyung-deok) announced on the 4th that it conducted the "24th Youth Drug Abuse Prevention Campaign" twice on the 28th of last month and the 3rd of this month for all grades of Hanbitnuri Middle School and Dongducheon High School.

About 700 participants, including students and teachers from each school, took part in the event.

The campaign was hosted by the Dongducheon Rotary Club and sponsored by Dongducheon City, featuring activities such as a drug abuse Golden Bell quiz and a health campaign.

Teachers and students who participated in the event responded enthusiastically, saying, "Through the Golden Bell, we were able to clearly understand the dangers and harms of harmful drugs."

Officials from the Dongducheon Rotary Club and Dongducheon City Health Center stated, "We will continue to create a healthy and safe Dongducheon City through ongoing drug abuse prevention education and promotion targeting youth."
