Samsung Heavy Industries, 2025 Regular Executive Appointments... Vice President Lim Jong-jin Promoted

Samsung Heavy Industries announced on the 4th that it conducted its regular executive personnel appointments for 2025.

In this personnel appointment, based on the principle of performance-oriented personnel management, promotions were made for a total of 5 people: 1 Vice President, 3 Managing Directors, and 1 Master (R&D specialized executive).

Vice President Lim Jong-jin joined Samsung Heavy Industries in 1997 and worked in the company's purchasing team until 2020. Afterwards, he served as head of the marine purchasing team and shipbuilding purchasing team, and since 2023, he has been the head of the strategic purchasing office.

Samsung Heavy Industries stated, "Selections were made focusing on talent in technical fields who will lead business competitiveness enhancement and the company's future growth, based on job expertise and leadership."

Samsung Heavy Industries plans to soon complete and announce the regular organizational restructuring and position appointments.
