30th Anniversary of China Flight... Asiana Airlines Holds Commemorative Event

Asiana Airlines will celebrate the 30th anniversary of its China route launch on the 22nd.

On the 4th, Asiana Airlines announced that it held a commemorative event at Beijing Capital International Airport Terminal 3 to celebrate the 30th anniversary of its Korea-China route launch.

Previously, Asiana Airlines began operating the Gimpo~Beijing and Gimpo~Shanghai routes on December 22, 1994. Currently, it operates up to 31 routes to 24 cities in China.

On this day, Asiana Airlines set up an event booth at the check-in counter for flight OZ334 from Beijing to Incheon and held a prize draw. At the boarding gate, passengers were also given 30th anniversary souvenirs. By tagging Asiana Airlines and uploading event photos on the Chinese social networking service (SNS) "Xiaohongshu," participants can enter a later prize draw.

Yu Byung-guk, head of Asiana Airlines’ China Regional Headquarters, said, "We prepared this event to thank everyone for their support over the past 30 years since launching our China routes," adding, "We will continue to be an airline that gets closer to our customers with the best punctuality and service."
