Jung Jang-seon, Mayor of Pyeongtaek City, Gyeonggi Province, stated on the 4th, "I pay tribute to the National Assembly for swiftly passing the resolution to lift the unprecedented state of emergency martial law," adding, "It is fortunate that the minimum constitutional order has been maintained thanks to the National Assembly's prompt efforts."

In particular, he mentioned that special measures will be established to support farmers who suffered significant damage from the recent heavy snowfall, and that full efforts will be made for recovery.


He also delivered a message to citizens to overcome the crisis together. Mayor Jung urged, "If we all return to our daily lives without disturbances or confusion and do our best in our respective roles, we will be able to overcome the crisis we are currently facing."
