Recruitment content platform Catch announced on the 4th that the "cumulative number of resumes registered on its site surpassed 500,000 as of November."
Analysis of public resumes revealed that Catch has a particularly high proportion of talent from "Seoul metropolitan area universities." This accounted for 42% of all resumes. By university, Korea University (approximately 13,000 people) had the highest number, followed by △Sungkyunkwan University with 10,000, △Yonsei University with 9,000, △Hanyang University with 8,700, and △Kyung Hee University with 8,300.
The high proportion of core experienced talent is also noteworthy. Among experienced resumes, 61% were from large corporations, mid-sized companies, or top 10% small and medium enterprises, and the proportion of M-level employees with 3 to 7 years of active job changes reached 47%. By job category, the order was △Management and Administration (about 30,000) △Production and Manufacturing (about 23,000) △Sales and Customer Service (about 20,000) △IT and Internet (about 19,000) △Research and Development and Design (about 16,000).
Catch cited "various online and offline content" as the background for its rapid growth centered on core talent. It is analyzed that providing high-quality content, such as personalized job postings through AI matching technology and hosting offline Catch Cafe recruitment briefings, greatly contributed to attracting key job seekers.
Kim Jeong-hyun, head of the JinHakSa Catch division, stated, "We are continuously strengthening online and offline content that provides practical help to job seekers, such as Catch Cafe and Catch TV," and added, "We plan to further advance our services so that companies and job seekers can connect smoothly in the future."
