Woongjin Group announced on the 4th that Chairman Yoon Seok-geum has published a new book titled The Power of Words, which contains his management philosophy and life philosophy.
The Power of Words highlights the impact of words and thoughts on life, conveying the message that positive language can change one's destiny. It includes Chairman Yoon's unique experiences and lessons from his journey of growing from an ordinary young man to a business leader who made a significant mark in the history of Korean corporations.
The book is centered on Chairman Yoon's autobiographical experiences and philosophy. It vividly captures his 44 years of management history, from starting his career as a sales representative at the Britannica Korea branch and his first experience selling encyclopedias, to the success story of Woongjin Coway, which introduced the world's first home appliance rental service, and overcoming crises such as the IMF financial crisis and the COVID-19 pandemic. It also shares experiences of transforming himself and his organization through the power of positivity, providing insights and advice necessary for managers and people living in this era.
The Power of Words states that the words and attitudes in daily life play a decisive role in determining success or failure in life. Chairman Yoon emphasizes in the book, “It is important to realize how powerful the words we say to ourselves every day, the words we say to others, and the words we send out to the world are, and to put this into practice.”
The Power of Words is a self-development book containing Chairman Yoon’s 44 years of management philosophy and secrets to success. It is his fourth book, published two years after his previous work, The Power to Break Through Myself.
