The Provincial Policy Advisory Committee of Gyeonggi-do held its second plenary meeting on the 3rd.
At the meeting, the Policy Advisory Committee shared the activity results of the Future Vision Committee and the Provincial Development Committee aimed at the development of Gyeonggi-do policies, and conducted in-depth discussions on four presentation reports including measures to activate carbon absorption and storage sources, and diagnosis of changes in the central government's support system for the arts sector, as well as major agendas.
Through discussions, the Policy Advisory Committee selected five agendas as the committee's core issues: decentralization, regional extinction, establishment of autonomous growth engines led by local areas, and the community continuous residence project. They also discussed development tasks linked to each sector's departments.

The Policy Advisory Committee is a policy advisory body that discusses solutions to provincial issues together through regular monthly meetings. Through close cooperation with departments and public institutions, it plans to propose creative alternatives for provincial development and seek implementation plans.
