[Breaking] Emergency Martial Law Shocks Exchange Rate, Surpasses 1440 Won

As President Yoon Suk-yeol declared martial law, the won-dollar exchange rate is showing a sharp rise in after-hours trading.

In the Seoul foreign exchange market, as of 12:27 AM on the 4th, the won-dollar exchange rate is trading at 1,442.5 won.

The won-dollar exchange rate, which closed at 1,402.9 won during daytime trading at 3:30 PM the previous day, is showing a surge of about 40 won in after-hours trading.
