According to industry sources on the 3rd, the Korea Land and Housing Corporation (LH) recently announced that the final subscription period for preliminary subscription winners of blocks A1 and A9 in the Jangsang District of Ansan, Gyeonggi Province, will be postponed to October 2027.
This district was originally scheduled to hold the final subscription in May next year. However, with the schedule delayed, preliminary subscription winners will have to wait an additional 2 years and 5 months.
For the Ansan Singil 2 District blocks A1·3, A2·A6, and B1, which are also scheduled for final subscription in May next year, notices have been issued informing that the final subscription schedule will be changed by block to between October 2026 and September 2027.
Similarly, blocks A5, A10, and S1 in the Siheung Geomo District, which had final subscriptions planned around the same time, have also been postponed by more than a year to between July and December 2026.
The reasons for the delays include compensation delays and subsequent process delays, cultural heritage investigations, soft ground treatment, and the relocation of transmission towers.
Earlier, as cases of delays in final subscriptions following preliminary subscriptions continued, the government abolished the system in May of this year.
