Tree Lighting at District Office Plaza on the 2nd... Wishing for Residents' Well-being and Happiness

Bright lights illuminated the Christmas tree in front of Dongdaemun-gu Office.

On the evening of the 2nd, Dongdaemun-gu, Seoul (Mayor Lee Pil-hyung) held the '2024 Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony' at the district office plaza, the office announced on the 3rd.

The district installed a large tree in the plaza to wish for the well-being and happiness of residents and to allow those passing by the district office to enjoy the joy of Christmas and the New Year.

Chairman Lee Tae-in of the Dongdaemun-gu Council, along with council members and Mayor Lee Pil-hyung of Dongdaemun-gu, lit the tree together with one heart, pledging to work together to deliver the 'Light of Hope' to the residents.

Mayor Lee Pil-hyung of Dongdaemun-gu said, “I hope everyone finishes the remaining month of 2024 well, and I will do my best next year as well to make Dongdaemun-gu ‘the place that opens happiness.’”
