AI Solution Marketing Performance
Domestic Startup Activities Stand Out
As artificial intelligence (AI) brings innovation to corporate marketing strategies, related solutions from startups are emerging. AI has enabled more sophisticated marketing by analyzing customers' real-time behavior patterns, enhancing communication with customers, and suggesting personalized content, going beyond simple advertising execution and performance analysis. In particular, AI solutions from startups are being utilized in various marketing tasks such as analyzing offline store visitors, operating chatbots, influencer campaigns, and content creation, bringing positive changes across the industry.
On the 4th, MayAI, which operates the video processing AI solution ‘Mesh’, announced that it analyzes 15,000 hours of video daily in real time using its AI engine. Mesh is a solution developed by MayAI that analyzes visitor data captured by offline store CCTV using a proprietary deep learning algorithm to provide marketing insights. It analyzes visitor behavior patterns in real time, enabling even novice store managers without specialized knowledge to easily utilize data such as consumer purchase journeys and dwell time by area in their work. In fact, Mesh was introduced at CGV and achieved a 30% increase in screen advertisement viewership.
Wadeul’s conversational AI agent ‘Zentu’ automatically collects and analyzes customer feedback. It deeply understands customer preferences, purchase purposes, and specific requirements, acting as a ‘veteran salesperson’ that provides personalized recommendations based on this understanding. This helps product planners (MDs) on e-commerce platforms decide on new product listings. For example, on a domestic e-commerce platform with 700,000 monthly active users (MAU), after adopting the Zentu solution, product click rates increased to 20% within six months, more than doubling.
Featuring, a social networking service (SNS) data analysis company, uses its proprietary data engine ‘Featuring AI’ to collect and analyze in real time over 16 million global influencer channels and more than 300 million SNS data points to recommend personalized influencers. Through this, companies can reduce resources by over 90% compared to individually finding and proposing marketing to local influencers in various countries. In the case of a domestic small and medium beauty brand, Featuring AI was used for data-driven influencer marketing when entering the U.S. market, quickly securing rapidly growing influencers. This led to successfully establishing a foothold in overseas markets by ranking first in the Amazon skincare category.
The reason these startup AI solutions are gaining attention is that the ability to analyze and utilize vast amounts of data such as consumer preferences and behavior patterns in real time has emerged as a core competitive advantage for companies. According to a recent survey by Startup Alliance, entrepreneurs who introduced AI into their companies cited marketing (33.7%) as the second most common application area after research and development (48.1%). An industry insider said, "AI has established itself as a key tool that expands customer touchpoints and enables strategic decision-making based on data, improving efficiency across all marketing tasks," adding, "Many companies, regardless of size, will continue to adopt AI solutions to strengthen their competitiveness."
