Uijeongbu City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Kim Dong-geun) announced on the 3rd that the local volunteer group Ongisimhwe (溫氣心會·President Na Seung-eun) participated in the '100-Day Love Relay Baton Passing' by delivering 50 boxes of steamed buns to low-income households.

The donated steamed buns will be distributed to social welfare facilities in the area through the Gyeonggi Northern Community Chest of Korea and delivered to low-income households.
President Na Seung-eun said, “We are donating steamed buns to deliver warmth and care to neighbors in need during the cold winter,” adding, “We will continue to pay attention to our neighbors and practice sharing and volunteering.”
Mayor Kim Dong-geun expressed his gratitude, saying, “We thank the members of Ongisimhwe for showing kindness and sharing with neighbors in need,” and added, “The donated food will be properly delivered to those in need.”
Ongisimhwe has been continuing its sharing and volunteer activities by providing meals, kimchi for kimjang, and briquettes to elderly living alone, as well as delivering carnations on Parents’ Day.
