Yeonggwang-gun to Recruit 2,120 Senior Job Positions for Next Year

Applications Accepted at Eup and Myeon Offices Until the 20th

Yeonggwang-gun, Jeollanam-do is recruiting 2,120 participants for the ‘2025 Senior Job and Social Activity Support Project’ until the 20th.


According to the county on the 3rd, this support project was promoted to provide seniors with social jobs suited to their abilities and aptitudes.

The number of recruits by field is 1,700 for public interest activities, 270 for capacity utilization, 100 for community project groups, and 50 for employment support, totaling 2,120 people. The project will be carried out from January to the end of December next year.


Eligibility for application requires residency in Yeonggwang-gun as of the recruitment date. For the public interest activity project, applicants must be basic pension recipients aged 65 or older; for the senior capacity project, 65 or older; and for the community project group, 60 or older. However, basic livelihood security recipients, workplace subscribers to the National Health Insurance, long-term care insurance grade assessors, and participants in government or local government job projects are not eligible to apply.


Although recipients of the existing occupational pension were previously unable to participate, those who meet the criteria set by the Minister of Health and Welfare will be allowed to participate in next year’s project.


Those wishing to participate can submit application documents to the local eup/myeon office, relevant departments (Forest and Park Division, Sports Industry Division), or executing agencies (Yeonggwang Senior Club, Cheongram Senior Welfare Center, Korean Senior Citizens Association Yeonggwang Branch) by the 20th.
