The Dongducheon City Community Security Council (hereinafter referred to as the Council) announced on the 3rd that it held the 'Dongducheon City Childcare Policy Briefing' at the Dongducheon City Childcare Support Center on the 29th of last month, with about 80 parents in attendance.

This briefing was jointly hosted by the Council's Women and Family Division and the Childcare Support Center under the theme "Dongducheon where Moms are Comfortable and Children are Happy."
In particular, the briefing was organized to create a city where parents can give birth and raise children with peace of mind by explaining childcare policy projects according to life cycles.
The main contents of the briefing included detailed guidance on 64 childcare policy projects and application methods supporting from pregnancy to high school graduation according to life cycles. Additionally, attendees had a chance to recall key points through a quiz, which received great responses from the participating parents.
An official from Dongducheon City said, "We hope this briefing provided parents with practical information about childcare policies and helped ease their concerns," adding, "We will continue to collect citizens' opinions and strive to complement and develop policies that fit reality."
