Dangjin City Launches 'Hope 2025 Sharing Campaign'

This Year's Fundraising Goal: 700 Million Won

On the 2nd, Dangjin City in Chungnam held the opening ceremony for the "Hope 2025 Sharing Campaign" at the city hall's main auditorium.

The annual sharing campaign, held from December 1 to January 31, focuses on fundraising and is hosted and organized by Dangjin City, Dangjin City Welfare Foundation, and the Chungnam Community Chest of Korea.

Last year, Dangjin City set a fundraising goal of 700 million KRW for the "Hope 2024 Sharing Campaign," but thanks to the enthusiastic support of its citizens, the city raised 1.14 billion KRW.

This year's fundraising goal is also set at 700 million KRW, the same as last year's target.

Mayor Oh Seonghwan said, "Thanks to the passionate support and participation of our citizens, our city has been able to successfully achieve its fundraising goals every year," and added, "I ask for your continued interest so that the warmth of love can spread throughout our community again this year."

Individuals, organizations, or businesses wishing to donate can contribute through the Welfare Division's Happy Support Team at city hall, the Dangjin City Welfare Foundation, or the local administrative welfare centers, or by depositing into the Community Chest's designated fundraising account.

Meanwhile, last year's campaign funds were used for supporting the living expenses and medical needs of low-income households, improving housing conditions, supporting educational independence, and providing winter heating assistance.
