Muan-gun Opens 'Complex Cultural Center' as a Hub for Family Welfare

Simultaneous Relocation of Three Institutions... Expecting Synergy Effect

On the 2nd, the Muan-gun Family Center, Shared Childcare Space, and Together Care Center, which will serve as the focal point for family welfare, opened at the Muan-gun Complex Cultural Center in Jeollanam-do.

According to the county on the 3rd, about 150 people, including County Governor Kim San, County Council Chairman Lee Hoseong, council members, multicultural families, and residents, attended the event to celebrate the new beginning.

The Muan-gun Family Center relocated from its previous facility on Muan-ro in Muan-eup and now includes △interaction and communication spaces, education rooms, cooking classrooms △family center offices, and interview, group, and telephone counseling rooms, providing customized welfare services tailored to family types and life cycles.

The Shared Childcare Space, established for the first time in Muan-gun, is operated by the Muan-gun Family Center under a consignment agreement and is responsible for sharing childcare information and providing cooperative childcare services. The Together Care Center, the fourth branch, is expected to reduce the childcare burden on dual-income couples by addressing after-school care gaps for elementary school students.

With the three family-related institutions opening together at the Muan-gun Complex Cultural Center, it is expected to resolve childcare and care gaps in one place and create a synergy effect for projects aimed at fostering family communities.

Governor Kim San said, “We will do our best to ensure that the facilities moving into and opening at the Muan-gun Complex Cultural Center serve as a major focal point for family welfare, allowing not only Muan-gun’s children but entire families to live happily in a supportive environment.”
