The 'Hope 2025 Sharing Campaign' is an annual campaign organized by the Gyeongnam Community Chest of Korea to create a warm society that practices sharing with neighbors. Under the slogan "Make Myself Valuable Through Donation, Make Yangsan Valuable!", it runs for 62 days from December 1st to January 31st of the following year.
On this day, Mayor Na Dong-yeon of Yangsan, Chairman Gwak Jong-po of the Yangsan City Council, Vice Mayor Jo Hyun-ok of Yangsan, Vice President Park Ki-seop of the Yangsan Volunteer Organizations Council, and Director Kim Ok-rang of the Culture and Welfare Bureau participated as donors numbered 1 to 5, marking the start of the 'Hope 2025 Sharing Campaign' and hanging hopeful messages supporting a vigorous new year on the hope tree.
Mayor Na Dong-yeon, who participated as the first donor, said, "The Hope 2025 Sharing Campaign will be an important milestone demonstrating the power of the local community helping and sharing with each other," and added, "Despite the difficult economic situation, I ask for the warm interest and participation of citizens who stand with marginalized neighbors."
