Musk and Trump Effect? "SpaceX Valuation Jumps 66% to 492 Trillion Won"

Musk and Trump Effect? "SpaceX Valuation Jumps 66% to 492 Trillion Won"

Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla, is leading the unlisted space company SpaceX, which has been reported to have a corporate valuation of approximately 492 trillion won.

On the 2nd (local time), Bloomberg News cited anonymous sources and reported that SpaceX is discussing a public tender offer that could raise its corporate valuation to about $350 billion (approximately 492 trillion won).

However, SpaceX did not respond to related verification requests.

Earlier last month, major foreign media outlets reported that SpaceX would be valued at $255 billion (approximately 360 trillion won) through a public tender offer this month.

Bloomberg stated, "In this case, a significant premium is attached compared to the previously set valuation," adding, "It will solidify SpaceX's status as the world's most valuable private startup."

SpaceX was valued at about $210 billion (approximately 249 trillion won) in the public tender offer last June. According to Bloomberg's report, SpaceX's corporate valuation has grown by 66% in six months.

This appears to be closely related to CEO Musk's strong influence in politics after helping Donald Trump, the then President-elect of the United States, secure victory in the presidential election.

SpaceX counts the government agency NASA as its largest customer. Investors believe that after the inauguration of the second Trump administration, the scale of government contracts awarded to SpaceX could increase. Additionally, with the deregulation of rocket launches and related activities, the company is expected to achieve even greater growth.
