"Remembering Him with Pride" Agency's Tribute
Actor Park Min-jae, who starred in the popular drama 'Goryeo-Khitan War,' has reportedly passed away during a trip to China.
On the 2nd, Park Min-jae's agency 'Big Title' announced through their official social media (SNS), "The beautiful actor Park Min-jae, who loved acting and always gave his best, has gone to the afterlife," delivering the obituary.
They added, "We sincerely thank everyone for the love and attention showered on actor Park Min-jae. Although we can no longer see his acting, we will proudly remember him as a Big Title actor. We respectfully pray for the deceased's peaceful rest."
It was reported that Park Min-jae died of sudden cardiac arrest while traveling in China. Hwang Ju-hye, CEO of Big Title, also expressed on her personal SNS that "(Park Min-jae) said he would conquer China and go on a month-long trip," and lamented, "It is so shocking and unbelievable that he has embarked on such a long journey."
She mourned the deceased, saying, "Although it was a short time, I am thankful and also sorry to have been your CEO."
A message from the bereaved family was posted on the late actor’s Instagram account. The message read, "Our beloved older brother has gone to rest deeply. We hope as many people as possible come to see him off," and "Please kindly understand that we are unable to contact everyone individually."
Park Min-jae’s funeral wake has been set up in Room 9 at Ewha Womans University Seoul Hospital Funeral Hall. The funeral procession will take place at 9:30 AM on the 4th, and the burial site is yet to be decided.
Meanwhile, Park Min-jae began his entertainment career in 2021 and gained public recognition by appearing in dramas such as 'Mr. LEE,' 'Tomorrow,' 'Little Women,' 'Law Money,' 'The Fabulous,' and 'Goryeo-Khitan War.'
