Held Executive Meeting and Prepared Improvement Measures for Administrative Audit Issues
On the morning of the 2nd, the government of Haman-gun, Gyeongnam, held the December executive meeting in the medium conference room on the 3rd floor of the annex building of the county office, presided over by County Governor Jo Geun-je.
First, Governor Jo ordered thorough preparation of improvement measures regarding the administrative audit findings.
He requested that improvement measures be prepared for the opinions and findings presented during last week's council administrative audit to prevent the recurrence of the same issues next year.
He also urged thorough preparation for the proposal explanation of next year's budget starting from the 9th to ensure that the budget is not cut.
He then emphasized the importance of firmly establishing public service discipline at the end of the year and cautioned to be careful as the festive atmosphere from various gatherings and dinners could potentially lead to unfortunate incidents.
In particular, he stressed special attention to avoid drunk driving, thorough management of duty, and warned that strict accountability will be enforced for any violations of public service discipline.
Lastly, he requested strengthening safety inspections to prevent fires during the winter season.
With the start of winter, the use of electricity and fire increases, raising the risk of fire outbreaks. Every year, many casualties occur due to fires in residential facilities such as houses and industrial sites.
He specifically asked for proactive inspections of potential fire hazards related to flammable building materials at industrial sites to enable preemptive responses.
Furthermore, for various fire prevention efforts, the voluntary awareness of the residents and continuous promotion are essential. Therefore, he urged the relevant departments to raise public vigilance through fire prevention videos using social networking services (SNS).
