Damyang-gun to Recruit Participants for Next Year's 'Senior Job Program'

1,650 People in 3 Types... 6.6 Billion Won Invested in Project Costs

Jeonnam Damyang-gun (Governor Lee Byeong-no) announced on the 2nd that it is recruiting participants for the 2025 Senior Job and Social Activity Support Project until the 13th.

The number of people by project type is ▲1,470 for public interest activities ▲140 for capacity utilization ▲40 for community project groups, totaling 1,650 people.

Next year's senior job project will invest 6.6 billion KRW and operate 22 projects at four implementing agencies: Damyang-gun, Damyang Senior Club, Damyang-gun Hyangchon Senior Welfare Center, and the Korean Senior Citizens Association Damyang-gun Branch.

The county plans to promote the revitalization of the local economy by improving the health, enhancing social relationships, supplementing income, and increasing the life satisfaction of seniors through continuous social participation support for low-income elderly.

Those who wish to participate in the project can apply in person at the eup/myeon offices and implementing agencies or apply online through ‘Bokjiro’ and ‘Senior Job Here’. Selected candidates will participate in the project after receiving safety and job training starting from January next year.
