Paju City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Kim Kyung-il) announced on the 2nd that it conducted a 'Senior Employment Special Lecture' through a non-face-to-face video conference on the 28th of last month.
The 'Senior Employment Special Lecture' is a program that supports self-reflection and mid- to long-term life planning for job seekers aged 60 and over who are preparing for their second life.
The instructor covered three main topics: ▲Life career planning strategies for the era of 100 years ▲Finding happiness-centered values ▲Drawing a picture of my future self. The detailed content included change management and planning for the second act of life, self-exploration for setting happiness goals, case analysis, and envisioning the future self.
Lee I-gu, Director of the Job Economy Division, said, “This program was planned to help senior job seekers who need to find employment due to retirement and other reasons to reduce their difficulties.”
