Gwanak-gu (District Mayor Park Jun-hee) is recruiting participants for the '2025 Winter Youth Administrative Experience Group,' where young people can experience administrative work.
The district plans to expand the participation target of the 'University Student Part-time Job' program, which was previously only open to university students, to include all youth, providing more young people with opportunities to experience administration.
The eligibility criteria require applicants to be unemployed youth aged between 19 and 29 as of the recruitment announcement date (November 27), currently registered as residents of Gwanak-gu. However, youth who participated in the 2024 winter or summer university student part-time jobs are excluded.
The total number of recruits is 50, divided into 40 general admissions and 10 special admissions. Special admission candidates include ▲basic livelihood security recipients ▲lower-income groups ▲persons with disabilities ▲North Korean defectors, among others.
Youth selected for the Youth Administrative Experience Group will work five days a week from January 6 to January 31, 2025, with working hours of 6 hours per day (including a 1-hour break).
The main workplaces include ▲Gwanak District Office ▲Dong Community Centers ▲Gwanak-gu Public Health Center ▲Gwanak-gu Facilities Management Corporation ▲Gwanak Cultural Foundation, etc.
Youth assigned to each institution will be responsible for tasks such as assisting with administrative work, guiding civil complaints, and organizing documents, allowing them to gain practical experience in public service.
Youth wishing to participate can apply through the Gwanak District Office website (Participation/Reservation → Administrative Application) by December 6.
District Mayor Park Jun-hee said, "I hope that the public service experience through the Youth Administrative Experience Group will serve as a good foundation for many young people to establish their career paths," and added, "We will continue to create various opportunities for young people struggling with employment to develop their job skills."
