The Best Entrepreneur and Best Worker awards began in 2006 and marked their 19th anniversary this year. These awards recognize individuals who have made significant contributions to local industry and social development, aiming to boost regional pride and promote corporate growth. Awardees were finally selected through the Gumi City Corporate Love Committee’s evaluation following a public announcement and application process in November.

The Best Entrepreneur was evaluated mainly on business conditions, contribution to regional growth, job creation, and welfare benefits, while the Best Worker was selected based on personal capabilities, contribution to corporate growth, and regional contribution through a combined first-stage document review and second-stage judging panel evaluation.
