Samsung Electronics Launches 'AI Subscription Club'... Access Latest AI Products with Monthly Subscription Fee

Lowering Purchase Barriers by Reducing Initial Purchase Costs

Samsung Electronics announced on the 1st that it will launch the 'AI Subscription Club' service nationwide at Samsung Stores and Samsung.com starting this month.


The 'AI Subscription Club' is a service where consumers pay a monthly subscription fee to use products for a certain period. The advantage is that it lowers the initial cost when purchasing products, allowing more consumers to use the latest Samsung Electronics products at an affordable price.


Samsung Electronics operates the subscription service model for TVs, refrigerators, washing machines, vacuum cleaners, and more, with over 90% of these products being AI-enabled. Samsung plans to continue popularizing 'AI=Samsung' by focusing the 'AI Subscription Club' service on AI products.

Samsung Electronics offers various plans so that customers can choose and purchase only the products and services they need.


The 'All-in-One' plan is a product that allows customers to selectively combine care services such as on-site care and self-care along with the product and free repair service. It can be used for up to 60 months by selecting the period with the dedicated 'AI Subscription Club Samsung Card.' Early termination is also possible.


The 'Smart' plan allows customers to select only the services they want along with product purchase. Free repair service and care services can be chosen separately, and the period can be selected as either 36 months or 60 months.


Customers who already own products can use care services alone for up to 60 months. Care services include ▲comprehensive product inspection ▲consumable replacement ▲internal and external cleaning.


The 'AI Subscription Club' provides convenience through Samsung’s unique care services utilizing AI features of SmartThings.


Using SmartThings, a 'Monthly Care Report' is provided once a month exclusively to subscription customers, offering information such as device diagnosis results, usage patterns, and energy consumption free of charge without additional costs. A differentiated service that allows remote diagnosis and repair without engineer visits will also be introduced in the future.

Samsung Electronics has also prepared card billing discounts and various partnership services to offer special benefits exclusively for subscription customers. 'AI Subscription Club' customers can reduce subscription fees by applying card billing discounts based on the previous month's card performance.


Additionally, Samsung has partnered with a total of 14 partners including ▲Shilla Duty Free ▲Daemyung I'm Ready Funeral Service ▲Everland ▲Norang Balloon ▲Millie's Library ▲SK Broadband ▲CJ CheilJedang and 7 other food companies to provide various benefits.


Samsung Electronics plans to expand partnerships in the future to strengthen the benefits of the 'AI Subscription Club.'


Kim Yong-hoon, General Manager of Samsung Electronics Korea, said, "We plan to expand subscription products so that more consumers can experience the 'AI Life.' With the launch of the 'AI Subscription Club,' we will complete the formula 'AI=Samsung' and realize the vision of 'AI for All' across all areas."
