Achievement of Gyeonggi-do Governor's Award at the Excellent Case Contest for Out-of-School Youth in Gyeonggi-do
Yangju City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Kang Su-hyun) announced on the 29th that the Yangju City Out-of-School Youth Support Center received the Minister of Gender Equality and Family Commendation in the Outstanding Institution category at the ‘2024 Out-of-School Youth Support Project Report Conference’ held on the 21st.

This ministerial commendation was awarded among 222 out-of-school youth support centers nationwide. The center was recognized for its contributions to revitalizing out-of-school youth support projects by receiving high scores in five indicators, including efforts to discover out-of-school youth, case management, and problem-solving strategies.
Furthermore, at the ‘2024 Gyeonggi-do Out-of-School Youth Best Practice Contest’ held on the 27th by the Gyeonggi-do Out-of-School Youth Support Center, the center achieved a second success by winning the Gyeonggi Province Governor’s Award for its self-reliance support program, ‘Starting Toward a Dream.’
The Yangju City Out-of-School Youth Support Center had a meaningful year demonstrating qualitative growth and diverse service connections through winning awards for both outstanding institution and outstanding program this year.
