Uijeongbu City Community Security Council Holds 'Everyone's Story'

2024 Activity Report Meeting Held

Uijeongbu City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Kim Dong-geun) announced that the Uijeongbu City Community Security Council (Private Co-Chair Yoon Yeon-hee) held the 2024 Activity Report Meeting on the 27th at the city hall auditorium.

This activity report meeting, themed "Everyone's Story," was attended by about 120 members of the Community Security Council and public officials in charge of social security affairs, and included awards for outstanding activities in 2024, major activity reports, and presentations of excellent projects.

For contributions to the development of community security in 2024, a total of 26 members were awarded: 17 received the Mayor's Award, 4 the National Assembly Member Award, 3 the City Council Chair Award, and 2 the Co-Chair Award. The working council and the local community security councils presented their major activities.

Subsequently, the Uijeongbu 1-dong and Nokyang-dong Community Security Councils, along with the Education and Youth Division and the Medical and Health Division, presented excellent projects to share and consider ways of mutual cooperation, making it a meaningful occasion.

Private Co-Chair Yoon Yeon-hee stated, "I am honored to hold an activity report meeting where the private and public sectors unite and encourage each other," and added, "I will cooperate with council members to ensure the council continues to develop year by year."

Mayor Kim Dong-geun said, "I thank the council members who have faithfully served as the focal point of public-private cooperation throughout the year," and added, "We will continue to do our best in various activities to create a caring Uijeongbu City where everyone looks after each other."
