The Dream Together Project is a program aimed at discovering and nurturing local youth, creating quality youth jobs by linking them with social economy enterprises, and providing opportunities for them to grow into social economy entrepreneurs based on accumulated experience. The youth participants strengthened their job competencies through regular monthly education and advanced site visit workshops.

About 25 people attended the report meeting, including representatives of participating companies in the Dream Together Project, youth activists, the Yangju Social Economy Support Center, the Yangju City Hall Job Economy Division, and project officials. The meeting proceeded in the order of △ project progress report △ activity video presentation △ sharing of participant impressions.

A youth activist working at a social economy enterprise shared, “The education program was substantial and excellent, which greatly helped strengthen my capabilities. As a youth activist, it was a valuable opportunity to gain a lot of experience and understand the operation methods of social economy enterprises.”

A representative of a participating company said, “This project provided an opportunity for youth residing in the area to show increased interest and participation in social economy enterprises. Thanks to the youth job project, we received great help in increasing sales and developing the company, for which we are grateful.”

Section Chief Jo Myung-hee stated, “The Dream Together Project was a program that introduced social economy to capable local youth and allowed them to experience practical business tasks such as management support and marketing. We will continue to make efforts to create sustainable jobs for youth.”

Meanwhile, the ‘Dream Together Project’ is part of the Gyeonggi Province Job Policy Market project, a public contest project supported by Gyeonggi Province for three years to promote policies with high effects on public service improvement and job creation. Yangju City was selected in 2022 and has secured a project budget of 200 million KRW this year alone to carry out the project.
