Awarded at the
‘1st Gyeongnam Business Leaders' Day Ceremony’
Ye Kyung-tak, President of BNK Gyeongnam Bank, received the ‘Gyeongnam Businessperson Award in the Social Contribution Category (Minister of Employment and Labor Commendation)’ at the ‘1st Gyeongnam Businessperson Day Ceremony’ on the 29th.
President Ye attended the 1st Gyeongnam Businessperson Day Ceremony held at Hotel Intercontinental Changwon and received the Gyeongnam Businessperson Award from Lee Sang-yeon, Chairman of the Gyeongnam Employers Federation.
Since his inauguration as President of BNK Gyeongnam Bank in April last year, President Ye has been recognized for his contributions to the sound growth and economic development of Gyeongnam based on his management philosophy of being a bank that is a great support to the local economic ecosystem.
As a financial leader heading a representative regional financial institution, President Ye has contributed to the local community through sincere win-win finance centered on customers, providing financial products and services from the customer’s perspective, and has pursued balanced growth in growth potential, profitability, and soundness through diligent management innovation efforts such as enhancing asset soundness management and strengthening financial stability.
President Ye said, “I am very honored and pleased to be selected as the recipient of the Gyeongnam Businessperson Award at the 1st Gyeongnam Businessperson Day Ceremony. Meanwhile, the 1st Gyeongnam Businessperson Day Ceremony was organized to commemorate the 41st anniversary of the founding of the Gyeongnam Employers Federation, to award businesspeople who contributed to the stability of local labor-management relations, the spread of advanced labor-management culture, and the development of the regional economy, and to realize a beautiful society together with the local community.
