On this day, more than 60 participants including heads and workers from local children's centers and Dahamkke Care Centers, as well as staff from the Women and Children Division, distributed promotional materials conveying messages about children's rights, child abuse prevention, and prevention of sexual crimes against children, attracting the attention of citizens.
Additionally, to mark the "Children's Rights Month," the city conducted "Children's Rights Learning Education" for all city hall employees and distributed UNICEF-provided children's rights education materials titled "We All Have Rights" to 24 daycare centers in the district, dedicating efforts to creating a child-friendly city.
A Hanam City official stated, "To create a city where children can live well, efforts must be supported across all areas beyond just specific sectors," adding, "Hanam City will do its best to add child-friendly elements throughout the city by continuously providing staff education and conducting promotional activities targeting citizens so that everyone can take an interest in children's rights."
Meanwhile, Hanam City continues to build child-related infrastructure such as the construction of the Children's Hall and Children's Library (scheduled for 2026), the creation of the Children's Traffic Park (scheduled for 2025), and the opening of the Ai Sarang Playground.
