Held at the Women's Happiness Center from the 2nd to the 13th of next month
A place for students to showcase their honed skills
The Women’s Happiness Center in Guri City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Baek Kyung-hyun) announced on the 29th that it will hold a student work exhibition to conclude the 2024 programs from December 2 to 13 on the first floor of Haengbok-dong.
This event is an opportunity for the center’s course participants to showcase the skills they have honed over the year, aiming to encourage participation in cultural arts in daily life and the enjoyment of culture, while also increasing citizens’ interest in the Women’s Happiness Center.
About 100 works from 10 courses, including Yangjae accessories, making my own clothes, daily hanbok, flower arranging, Western painting, and Korean painting, will be exhibited, along with performances featuring flute, violin, and acoustic guitar.
Mayor Baek Kyung-hyun of Guri City said, “As the year-end approaches and the weather gets colder, this Women’s Happiness Center student work exhibition will be an occasion for the hearts of Guri citizens to become rich and warm.”
Meanwhile, the Guri City Women’s Happiness Center operated a total of 70 courses across 5 educational programs in 2024, with 2,754 students completing the courses. The first term of Women’s Happiness Center students for 2025 will be recruited from December 16 to 29.
