This agreement was promoted to create a sustainable circular economy society through resource saving and reuse promotion. According to the agreement, both organizations agreed to cooperate in sharing information about local festivals, promoting the use of reusable containers within festival venues, and providing administrative and financial support for operating festivals without disposable products.

Icheon City plans to operate festivals it organizes as disposable-free by hygienically piloting the rental and washing of reusable containers within booths.

Kim Kyung-hee, mayor of Icheon City, said, "We will actively participate in festivals without disposable products and strive to establish a culture of using reusable containers."
