When some netizens pointed this out, the author replied, "I was alone on the way to pick up passengers," "Isn't it still driving if the car moves?" and "I moved 50 meters after finishing eating." Later, they posted a photo of the empty cup noodles after finishing but then deleted it. Mr. A explained, "The author's nickname was the 'bus number,' and netizens who identified this filed a complaint with the company, leading to the post's deletion."
The bus driver explained, "I skipped lunch and got frustrated after moving only 100 meters in an hour. I engaged the parking brake every time I ate the noodles. I will be more careful," but also complained, "This world is really sensitive." Lawyer Yang Ji-yeol commented, "Even if it was stuck for an hour, it probably wasn't mealtime," adding, "You never know what might happen even when moving slowly. Dangerous situations could arise."
Netizens' reactions to the story were mixed. Many who criticized the bus driver commented, "No matter how stopped the car is, you must always be cautious while driving," "It's dangerous to eat on a bus with passengers, not a personal vehicle," "They don't even allow takeout coffee on buses because it's risky, so eating ramen is out of the question," and "Besides being dangerous, the smell of ramen must have been unpleasant for the passengers." On the other hand, some netizens said, "The driver skipped lunch and was driving; wouldn't eating be better than causing an accident due to low blood sugar?" and "If they had eaten something simple like kimbap instead of ramen, maybe this controversy wouldn't have happened."
