Recognition for Social Contribution Activities · Grand Prize at Korea Communication Awards
The National Honam Biosource Center under the Ministry of Environment is continuing to achieve remarkable results through ESG (Environmental, Social, and Transparent Management) management.
According to the center on the 28th, it received the highest level, Level 5, in the 'Local Community Contribution Recognition System' jointly organized by the Ministry of Health and Welfare and the Korea National Council on Social Welfare. Achieving the highest Level 5 rating in its first challenge this year, it demonstrated a leading role in socially responsible management through close cooperation with the local community.

Since its establishment in 2020, the center has promoted various community participation activities through public-private cooperation. It has received great responses by carrying out diverse social contribution activities such as the Youth Social Advancement Clinic, Multicultural Children’s 1.5-Degree Environmental Puppet Show, Island Village Market, Development Conference, and Biodiversity Conservation Roundtable.
