Yoo Song-gyu donated 8,000 bottles of Bacchus.
Recently, he delivered 3,000 bottles of Bacchus to the Dongtan 6-dong Administrative Welfare Center in Hwaseong, Gyeonggi, where he resides, and 5,000 bottles of Bacchus to the Goseong County Office in Gyeongnam, his hometown. On the 28th, he said, "I decided to make a donation after recording a hole-in-one, and I hope Bacchus will be a source of strength for the local residents," adding, "The remaining 2,000 bottles are being shared warmly with customers at the restaurant run by my mother."
Yoo Song-gyu made a hole-in-one on the 11th hole (par 3) of the first round at The Legend Course of Seolhaewon in Yangyang, Gangwon, during the KPGA Tour The Charity Classic held on the 17th of last month. He recorded a hole-in-one on this hole, designated as the 'Bacchus Hole,' and received 10,000 bottles of Bacchus as a prize.
He debuted on the KPGA Tour in 2015 and showed his best performance this season. He participated in 18 tournaments, earning prize money in 9 events including a tie for 8th place at the Kolon 66th Korean Open. He ranked 56th in prize money (104,956,791 KRW) and 50th in Genesis Points (1492.97 points), successfully maintaining his tour card.
