Saewool Nuclear Headquarters Practices Neighborly Love through 'Sharing Love, Sharing Kimchi'

Sharing 1,500 Heads of Kimchi with Welfare Facilities and Neighbors in Need in Seosaeng-myeon

Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power Saewool Nuclear Power Headquarters conducted a volunteer activity for making kimchi called ‘Sharing Love, Sharing Kimchi’ on the 27th and 28th at the Sarangnanum Center in Seosaeng-myeon, Ulju-gun, to support neighbors in need in the local community.

The ‘Sharing Love, Sharing Kimchi’ volunteer activity was participated in by So Youseop, head of Saewool Nuclear Power Headquarters, Saewool volunteer members, and members of the Seosaeng-myeon Women’s Association, who carefully prepared 1,500 heads of kimchi for kimjang.

Saewool Nuclear Power Headquarters conducts kimchi-sharing volunteer activities every winter to help neighbors in need in the local community and has continuously carried out these sharing activities. Especially in this volunteer event, Saewool headquarters employees and local residents worked together, making the time even more meaningful.

The kimchi made that day was delivered to welfare facilities in the Seosaeng area and 200 households in need.

So Youseop, head of Saewool Nuclear Power Headquarters, said, “We hope that the kimchi made with love and sincerity will be a warm gift to our neighbors during the cold winter,” and added, “We will continue to fulfill our role as a company that practices the values of sharing and volunteering while coexisting with the local community.”

Saewool Nuclear Power Headquarters practices coexistence with the local community through social contribution activities for the region and plans various volunteer activities, including donations to help neighbors in need.
