"Repaying Trust with Responsible ESG Management"
Kumho Polychem announced on the 28th that it has received the highest 'Platinum' rating in the 2024 Corporate Sustainability Assessment by EcoVadis, a global ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) evaluation agency.
EcoVadis comprehensively evaluates over 130,000 companies across more than 180 countries worldwide in four areas: ▲Environment ▲Labor & Human Rights ▲Ethics ▲Sustainable Procurement, and awards ratings of Platinum (top 1%), Gold (top 5%), Silver (top 15%), and Bronze (top 35%).
After achieving the Silver rating in 2023, Kumho Polychem attained the Platinum rating in the 2024 assessment, an honor given only to the top 1% of global companies.

In the Social (S) category, the company was recognized for its efforts to create a healthy labor-management communication environment and improve organizational culture by regularly holding labor-management council meetings and employee communication programs.
Seongyu Kim, CEO of Kumho Polychem, said, "This achievement is the result of the collective efforts of all Kumho Polychem members," adding, "We will use this as a stepping stone to repay the trust in Kumho Polychem through more responsible ESG management activities."
