"Come to Ui-cheon at Sunset"... Gangbuk-gu to Exhibit Light Sculptures Starting Next Month Inside the Gate of the Ui Stream Light Sculpture Exhibition in Gangbuk-gu. Provided by Gangbuk-gu.

Planned as a winter nighttime tourism content, this exhibition aims to decorate Uicheon with light sculptures to increase visitors' stay time and contribute to revitalizing the local economy.

This year's theme for "Uicheon Bitnada" is "Winter Snacks." Sculptures and neon lights shaped like winter snacks such as Bungeoppang (fish-shaped pastry), Eomuk skewers (fish cake skewers), roasted sweet potatoes, and Tanghulu (candied fruit), which appeal to various generations including the MZ generation, will brightly illuminate the Uicheon area.

The exhibition will feature a Milky Way light and gate structure themed around winter snacks installed over about 100 meters in the lower section of Beonchanggyo Bridge. The approximately 70-meter deck path at Uije 2nd Bridge will be decorated with neon hanging lights and string lights to delight visitors visually.

The district office will hold visitor participation events through the "Uicheonbyeon Festa" Instagram account and will also host various commemorative events on special days such as Christmas and New Year's. For more details about "Uicheon Bitnada," please contact the Gangbuk-gu Office Culture and Tourism Division.

Mayor Lee Soon-hee stated, "This 'Uicheon Bitnada' exhibition was prepared to offer special winter memories to both residents and tourists against the backdrop of Uicheon," and added, "We will continue to introduce various tourism contents to revitalize local tourism."
