The meeting was attended by 25 people, including Mayor Baek Young-hyun of Pocheon, key senior officials, National Assembly member Kim Yong-tae and his aides, provincial council members, and city council members.
The officials shared the current status of major national and provincial government-supported projects underway, aiming to improve the quality of life for Pocheon citizens and revitalize the local economy, and discussed cooperation measures across various fields to ensure smooth project progress.
Pocheon requested party-level cooperation and support to secure budgets smoothly and ensure the flawless implementation of key priority projects such as △ Cheongseongsan Comprehensive Development △ Pocheoncheon Blueway Creation △ Expansion of highway and subway transportation networks △ Promotion strategies for three special zones including the Education Development Special Zone △ Station area development △ Expansion of national and local roads.
National Assembly member Kim Yong-tae said, “In a time when national security and the livelihood economy are in crisis, cooperation between the party and government is even more important,” adding, “The party and government will actively cooperate to ensure that major projects are promoted in a timely manner for the better life of Pocheon citizens.”
Mayor Baek Young-hyun of Pocheon emphasized, “This party-government council meeting is an important process for Pocheon’s development, where Pocheon City and the People Power Party create concrete and practical results,” and added, “We will strive to overcome citizens’ livelihood difficulties and create tangible changes through continuous communication and cooperation.”
